My grandfather loaned
me a Macro lens for a while. He gave it to me on a “I’ll ask for it back
sometime” basis, and so in the meantime, I get to do macro photography. I don’t
have a clue how to use it, so I get to make all kinds of mistakes before I get
it somewhat figured out, but I had fun taking it out in a little sprinkle of
rain today. I LOVE WATER DROPS!!!!
And this year I tried
to take some photos of bokah. They didn’t turn out at all, but I thought you
might enjoy seeing my attempts!! J
And these are the girls I go to church with. :) (The baby's in there 'casue she needed babysitting!! :)
Tell me about your
holiday season in a comment!!!! J
(and today!) morning, I woke up to find my world white. But no, it wasn’t the
exciting certain powdery white stuff I am anxiously awaiting, no, it was frozen
fog, and there was plenty of regular unfrozen stuff too. It was one of those
days which I call, black and white days. Their days that really have no color
in them, and I always seem to dress in dark colors to match. Yesterday was no different
and I was in Black and Navy. J
did go out and take some photos, and some turned out pretty!! J
frost was especially special, because it was kinda like God was telling me, “I
give you something to smile about, something beautiful, even when you’re
lonely and hurting.” My brother Andrew
moved out on Friday. There is a lot involved, but my parents asked him to
leave. This is pretty hard for me, but I know God has a plan for everything, “good”
or “bad” that happens in our lives.
prayers for my family would be WONDERFUL!!
On a happier note, only three
days to go, and Thomas will be here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sherlock Holmes and
Dr. Watson went on a camping trip. After a good
meal and a bottle of wine, they lay down for the night and went to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes awoke and nudged his faithful
friend. "Watson, look up and tell me what you see." Watson replied, "I see millions and millions of stars."
"What does that tell you?" Watson pondered for a minute. "Astronomically, it tells
me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that
the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that
God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant in comparison.
Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. Why,
what does it tell YOU?" Holmes was silent for a
minute, then spoke. "Watson, you fool. Some
knucklehead has stolen our tent!!"
My brother will be
home in just seven days, but it feels like years. It's been exactly 100 day's
since I've seen him, but it feels like eternity. I miss him so much, yet I
couldn't be prouder of my big bro!!! He is there, so I don't have to. He's
there to protect me, and thousands and thousands of other people, to protect
their freedoms, rights, and lives. He's there to protect innocent people who
can't protect themselves, and sometimes to protect people from themselves.
I know I talk about movies way to
often. I really do know that, honest!! But I just have to tell you about my
two favorite animated movies and if you haven’t seen them, I would suggest, as long
as their ok with your family, that you do watch them!! J
P. S. They're in no praticular order!! :)
#1 How To Train Your Dragon
This is an amazing animated movie. It’s
intense, amazing how intense it is, it has it’s funny parts, but mostly I was
just to absolutely in love with Toothless and his beautiful eyes, and his dog
like actions!! J
other day I decided to experiment with jewelry photography, of my favorite
rings and earrings. I liked what I came up with, and had a lot of fun in the
This is my purity
ring. ^ It is a symbol that I am committed to purity, saving myself for my ‘knight’
(I affectionately nickname my ‘Knight in Shining Armor,’ “Knight.” ;)
This ^ is my awesome “pinkie”
ring. I don’t know why, but I love wearing rings on my pinkies, and I wear this
one all the time!! (Like all the time, I feel funny if I don’t have it on! J)
These ^ adorable
earrings were a gift from my Grandmother.
And these ^ cute black
hills gold earrings have a story behind them!! My Uncle gave them to me eight
long Christmas’ ago, and I was not allowed to pierce my ears until last
Christmas, I was so happy to finally wear them!!
I bought these ^ at Koals
on Black Friday.
And these. ^ I love Koals.
These earrings are so totally me; I love sparkly jewelry, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE
LOVE music, so… J
And lip gloss…….. I won’t even go
What have you been photographing
P.S. My mom gave me mascara for my
birthday this morning!!! It is so nice to finally be allowed to wear it!! I now
LOVE my lashes! J
P.P.S. only 11 days until Thomas gets home!!!!!!!!
I am so totally excited... It's December 2nd!!!!! That means that in tomorrow I'm gonna put up the Christmas decorations, and I can listen to Christmas music without my family telling me that it's to early. I can go shopping and buy to much, and blame it on "Christmas Shopping!" This is the best season of the year!
In just a little while, I can go skiing!! (just in case you don't know already, I love to ski! :) )
and someday I'm gonna take my own picture of a snowflake.
I'm Becca, and I suffer from short-term memory loss. It's gotta drive my friends crazy, I seriously can't remember anything. Except my name, luckily!!!! It's so bad, that my mom will tell me to do something, and by the time I finish telling her "yes ma'am" and head to do it, I've already forgotten. I was laughing at something today, and forgot what it was, and was still laughing, trying to remember what I was laughing at.
You remember Dorie, or whatever the little blue girl fish from Finding Nemo was named, (I've forgotten! :)) I'm a lot like her, in the memory department. I love that little fish. I can relate so well! lol
Yes, I watch animated movies. Just a couple of days ago, we were at a friend’s house for Thanksgiving, and it was one of the little girls' birthday, and at their house they get to pick out a movie to watch, so she picked Cinderella. Now, I bet if all the boys weren't there all us girls would have gone up to the bedroom and watched it with all the little kids, but we didn't. Instead, we watched the new "Winne the Pooh." (I know, not much better!! :) We were all laughing and laughing the entire movie. (And that's like 7-8 teens!!!!!) It was fun.
I love hanging out with teenagers who aren’t afraid of acting like little kids sometimes!
T'awna H. and I, when we went camping in July with them, went for a walk around the camp ground. We were looking for something and stumbled upon the playground. It was like 8:30, everyone was in their camp sites, and the playground was deserted. We looked at each other and ran off to the slides and swings.
Not us! ^
We found out which slide was the fastest, and which one had water on it. It was SO fun!! (Until a couple of little 5-6 year-olds came up and sat watching us in disbelief!! :)
Don't you want to be a little kid again sometimes?!?
Isn't it funny how post's evolve!!!!! :)
Have a beautiful Tuesday. The rest of my day is gonna be interesting. I've got a appointement with an eye doctor, gotta up my perscription and get a pair of new glasses!!!! (Yah, about the new glasses part!! :) ) and my mom has a prenatial (i have no clue if that is spelled right!)
