January and February were spent in a whirlwind of wedding planning, getting ready to be married to the most amazing man in the world, and moving to a different state. Honestly, they felt like the longest months ever.

February: our wedding date finally arrived. It was the most wonderful, magical day!

We left the day after our wedding for a honeymoon cruise from California to Mexico, where my sweet brand-new husband arranged for a trail ride. It was very fun, and so beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean.

March: I got a new job, and started working a lot. It was a great experience, and I learned a lot with that position.

April: We took a trip to Seattle, exploring different landmarks. We finally found the tiny Italian restaurant Scott remembered from years ago. (It wasn't quite as amazing as he remembered. :)

May: Scott took me to the beach after a particularly rough week! It was beautiful, and a wonderful trip. Our puppy didn't enjoy the ocean at all, though. :) She spent the entire time trying to be as far from the water as possible.

June: We attended my sister's ballet recital. They have both learned so much in the past few years, and were absolutely beautiful!

July: Included lots of work, tons of church activities, we were so busy! It also included spending time with Scott on the golf courses. I loved being out with him on the beautiful days! :)

August: We took a bunch of my siblings to the zoo, and had a lovely time hanging out with them. Caleb convinced us to let him ride the carousel, and then remarked after he finished. "That wasn't fun enough to cost $5.00." Welcome to the real world, kid!

September: We went back to the spot where Scott proposed in 2016, and it was a beautiful special night. The air was full of smoke, so the sunset was stunning over the river. A stranger took a beautiful photo of us unexpectedly that was special

October: We moved out of our adorable little house into a lovely apartment. It was a little sad, but its also been really nice to not have to deal with our landlord anymore! We also had a classic fall night, at one of the local corn mazes. I started a new job, that has become a wonderful opportunity!

November: We spent Thanksgiving at my families! The kiddos made gingerbread houses, and it was a fun day together.

December: Our first Christmas together. :)
