my brother's the cutest!! Really!!!

It was a beautiful day, getting up to about 85 degrees! I got out to take some photos, and get a little sun. I’ve got just a little tan going! J

I had baby goats born Saturday and yesterday, and both were successful births!! (That was really exciting!) so now I have five healthy little kids!! J (I think next time someone asks me how many kids I have, I’ll tell them “five!” lol) Seeing these first time mama’s is SOO cute!! They are very worried about every little peep those babies make!

 

I almost caught the smile!! J He’s starting to smile, if you work really hard, and totally act like a dork.  Seriously, people act like insane people just to get the babies to smile!!

I read this awesome quote on someone’s blog today!!!!

           "Old people at weddings always poke me and say, "You're next." So, I started doing the same thing to them at funerals!!!" :)

For the record, his hair is totally awesome! :) ^

Went to the park yesterday with some friends and their cousins. Fun stuff! J We even played tag with the younger kids on the play equipment.

I got to wear my flip flops for the first time in public this spring!!!! That makes me so happy, 'cause their so easy to slip off, and the you can go barefoot... I love going barefoot!!

Dear Spring,

I'm so glad you're here I won't even tell you how late I think you are!!!! Thanks for the flowers, I love them!

girl + camera + spring = wildflower photos

Hello awesome people.

     You really are awesome, ‘cause you put up with my frequent blogging boredom's!! J It feels like my life is just the same all the time, with nothing new to post about.

     But, today I do have a bunch of photos. It was so lovely out, warm with blue sky, I decided to go for a walk and take some photos of the little wildflowers all over our property.

My little bottle-fed goats are doing amazing. All the kids have been feeding them this whole time, and it is really nice not to have to do it!

Every year a city near us puts on a Passion play, of the Passover, Crucifixion, burial, and rising again of Christ. We didn’t make it to the Passover part, but went to the Crucifixion and burial last night. It is always so real to watch it. This year, two friends from church were the two thieves on the cross. (It was just a little funny to see them up there. My little siblings have been laughing today about seeing the guys in their ‘underwear’ (more like shorts!! J) We are going to the Resurrection on Sunday.

I had another goat kidd last night, but both the babies didn’t make it. One was born dead, and the other died shortly after it was born. It is really frustrating to loose babies and mamas, and not know what went wrong. The mama, my favorite goat Aleen, isn’t doing very well, and we’re gonna take her into the Vet Clinic in a little bit. (As soon as the vet gets there. It’s a Saturday afternoon, the worst time to have a problem, ‘cause the vets off, and they have to come in special just for us!! Which also means it will probably cost more…)

     I am really hoping that the last two mamas to kidd will have no problem, and that their babies are all fine. We’ll have to see though, with my luck the way it’s been. J

On a happier note, I think spring might be here to stay!!!!! The last few days have been amazingly beautiful; I even bought myself a new pair of sunglasses!!!! It’s always exciting to buy new sunglasses.

      And, my big brother, Thomas, is off at a huge amusement park in Korea right now!! Seriously, aren’t you supposed to invite your sister along on trips like that?!? (Not really, roller coasters and rides like that freak me out completely!!J Plus, I don’t think I could afford the plane ticket…)

     You should look up Korean food sometime. He says it’s really good, but personally, squid legs and oysters just don’t sound too great. I love my steak and chicken, thanks! Seafood tastes way to much like fish… go figure! :P (I’m not a seafood gal!)

officially wishing for spring

Don’t you love musicals?!? And classic movies… put the two together, and you get two hours of awesomeness. J One of my favorites is, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and this song is one of the best. J I love the guys dancing together.

I tried to go out and take photos of my baby goats yesterday, but they wouldn’t hold still long enough for me to take a decent photo. :) They are really cute though.

I lost their mama a couple of days after my last post, luckily for me, though, she was one of the newer goats, and I hadn’t gotten very attached yet. I form attachments with animals very quickly, and I LOVE my animals. Several years ago, my first rabbit died, and it completely ruined my week. I felt so depressed, so I don’t know what I would do if something BIGGER died… Anyhow…

Everyone was completly *sure* that spring was here, and then it snowed again. (Yesterday.) It melted off almost immedietly, but left the cold behind. *sigh* I really need it to warm up now. *Hint* :) Unfortunantly, here, it doesn't get very green. Maybe for a month, at the very most, and then it's back to being brown. We do get used to the brown, for sure!! :)

meeting for the first time

Seeing my family meet my littlest brother, James, was priceless. They were all so excited driving down to pick him up, and were upset when we had to make a couple of stops. Arriving at the hospital, we waited in the parking lot for a minuet while we transferred some things from my Grandparents car into the van, and the kids were almost running off without us. When we finally made it into the room, the squeals and “isn’t he cutes’” were so fun.

^ Cute just isn't the right word. :)

My parents let Andrew come over for a few minutes today, and it was awesome to get to see big bro meet the little guy. Andrew got to hold him for a while, and James didn’t cry very much!! Babies usually cry when Andrew holds them. J

So, precious or what?!? Finally something new and cute to photograph!!

.......surprise.......

I have a huge surprise for ya’ll!!!!

As you know from my last post, my mom was going in tomorrow to get induced. Well, long story short, mom went in Thursday night, because of a lot of different reasons, and they started trying to induce Friday morning, and through a bunch of problems, James Jeremiah was born at 4:20 this afternoon. I was able to witness the birth, and that was awesome!!! He weighed 7.8 pounds, and was 19 ½ inches long. :)

I’ll post more about all that later!!

And I also had triplet goat kidds born yesterday morning about 6:00 AM, and two of them made it, and are doing amazingly well. The mom is having a lot of problems, and I’m not sure if she is gonna make it, but I hope that it will all turn out great. We are bottle-feeding, and the babies are SOOO cute!!
