my sister just happens to be the cutest

i mean, really, how could anything compare to that cuteness? She just reached the milestone of 8lbs! And she is officially Three months old. :) That smile in the above photo is actually an accident. While I maintain that she did indeed smile at me three weeks ago, she hasn't started to smile in earnest yet. :) Dad insists that he's going to get the first real smile.

oh, and my little sister's pen-pal, Emma, made that hat. It's terribly adorable. :) We keep putting it on here when we go places, even when it doesn't match her outfit, (like the photos above,) because it's so cute.

Thomas and Sarah // Couple Portraits

This is my brother. And his girl. I have to admit that if I spend a lot of time thinking about it, it’s a little weird to see him with a girlfriend. But if I don’t spend much time thinking about it, I would tell you that it’s perfectly normal and not crazy at all. Plus, I love the girl, so it’s all good. :) We got to see them together for the first time this weekend, (although we met her last June, and obviously we have known him forever.) and it was strange for a little while, but I got used to it really fast. Aren't they just adorable? (And I have just go to say this; my brother is so handsome in his uniform, yes?) and, I need to also mention that they are not engaged yet. I know that a few of these photos have a ring, but it's a promise ring from Sarah's dad. :)

This was my very first couple shoot, and I fell in love with portrait photography all over again. Granted, I’m not very good yet, (and I had to go on Pinterest for posing inspiration,) but I had so much fun, and it was lovely. Photography is something that I want to do, a dream I want to peruse. Capturing people and memories for people to look back on is what I love. People are beautiful, and interesting, and when I actually take the time to slow down and look for the little things about people that I see, maybe just walking down the sidewalk, it is so fascinating. I want to be able to accurately capture the personalities of different people.

Thomas and Sarah met (of all places) a christian singles conference two years ago, and kept in contact ever since. They have 'officially' been together since June. I absolutely loved her the first time we met. :) She was just so cute, and I could totally picture them together.

Which is your favorite, and what do you think is the best couple pose? :)

julia kaye // girly girl

Thomas sent Julia this dress. It is a traditional South Korean outfit, and it is cute, no?

awww…

This little girl is so much fun. She is completely girly, and has the cutest smile. She loves dolls, the color pink, bunny rabbits, vanilla ice cream, and dress-up. She giggles all the time, and is learning how to read and write. And she is managing to grow up way too fast.  She and Mary are tea party experts, and when it comes to play mobiles, they are complete enthusiasts. I believe that is basically all they play anymore.
Sometimes when I see them playing together and having all that fun, it makes me wish that I had a sister my age. But then I remember all the fun I had with my older brothers, and I wouldn’t have it any other way for the world! J

Couldn’t you stay little forever, honey?

Luke Abraham // cute, yes?

This is Luke…

We’re gonna have trouble keeping the girls away from this one when he grows up.

I told him to make a funny face, and got an adorable one. :)

Photo-shoots are exhausting. lol

This is Luke, my five-year-old cute brother. He’s fun, and cute, and so much fun to take out on a photo shoot! I do believe that he is the only one of my family that really enjoys getting their picture taken. J He was running around the woods posing himself yelling “Come take one over here” just about every thirty seconds, while I attempted to keep up with him.  He was sad to stop when I finally decided I was gonna keel over from lack of food, and probably could have gone on posing himself all day long.

We constantly have to deal with problems between Caleb and Luke, “He hit me,” and “He ripped the book out of my hands” kind of stuff, in fact, I even had to do that while I was typing this post, but they have so much fun together too. You should hear the noise in the car as we travel anywhere. They are way back in the van, each yelling for mom’s attention every two minutes; I’m serious, and trying to outshout the other. It gets really chaotic. J

I just love this little guy, isn’t he cute?!
