Andrew's 18th?!?!

My brother, Andrew, just turned 18!!!!! Crazy isn't it!!! lol

We love our sunglasses!!!! And his hat that he cut on purpose to have that hole. I guess maybe it's just a country kid thing, but we kinda like how it looks. (Our parents have diffrent ideas though!! :) )

Summer is gone...

With it’s purple flowers, sunglasses…. According to the calendar that is, but I’m not so ready to let the sunglasses got yet. I’ve got a few more weeks of wear in them still!!!!! J

A Letter....

We got a letter from Thomas a few days ago!!!! It was rather short, but still awesome to receive. And it's length was pretty good seeing as he only has an hour to himself a day. :)

So, he's doin' good, has a really really scary Drill Sergeant, and is doing lots of pushups with his platoon for guys that just can't get it figured out. :)

skydiving.....to do or not to do?!

Did I tell you that my crazy cool brother (Thomas, the army dude) and a bunch of his equally crazy cool freinds went skydiving in Augest?!?! This is one of them, (not Thomas, I just thought this pic was kinda fun. :). The sky was really blue, and the chutes were really colorful, (blue, green, turquoise"ish", and pink. The poor guy that got pink!! :) lol) It looked like so much fun, that a freind (who was there watching her brother) and I decided that when I turn 18 were gonna go do it together!! :) The only problem is that I have a little bit until I do turn 18, so I have a while to "back out!!"

PLEASE PRAY FOR MY TOWN

My small town could use your prayers right now, people!!!! There is a huge fire near us, and a chance that it will come to us!! Andrew said that we will be put on Standby Evacuation by 8:00 this evening, and if teh final Evacuation was to come, it would come in the middle of the night. Several of our freinds have had to evacuate their homes, and TONS of other have been evacuated. We have some freinds on their way to stay at our house because they were evacuated. We have had helicoptors with water baskest flying over our house all day, and there is a TON of smoke in the air. Your prayers that no homes would be burned would be GREATLY appriciated!!!

Andrew has been out with Search and Rescue all day, and part of yesterday, giving "evacuating notices" for the seriff office.

P.S. here's a thought, what would you grab if you had to evacuate your home, say in the middle of the night, and had no more than 5 minuets to grab a couple of things besides your family. Leave your answer in the comment section.

I love the beach, and when you add a light house and a couple of my favorite people in it, I am completly happy!! (I'm not gonna tell you who they are though!! :p)

This is my older brother Andrew. He is kinda the "Cityfied" country boy of the family. He likes the city, and likes dressing like a 'city' boy, but is still a country boy. :)

I love our clouds!!!!!!!!!! And I have always loved this tree. Whenever we go hiking at this spot I always love to take a couple of photos of this tree. :)

to say that I love rainbows would be an understatement!!! This one was just gorgious!!!!!!

My dad recently bought me a 55-200mm zoom lens for my Canon SLR, and I was so happy to be able to take photos of water spraying up from the moter on my Gandpa's boat!! :)

This is my favorite mountain. To say that small town country girls LOVE their mountains would be an understatement. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this mountain. :) :)

We have hundreds and hundreds of deer around us.

I am sorry that the pictures are not very good quality. I promise that in reality they are, but the blog makes them look poor quality.

More Pictures!!

I am totally loving this high-speed!!! It makes posting so much easier. and I have decided to post some more pictures. These are in no particular order, just photos that I haven't had the time to post before.

So this is my adorable littlest brother, Caleb. He is 2,  talks so well and cute and is well, just absolutely cute!!!! :)

This is at Newport Oregon, where we went in July.

This is at the beach as well. We were all sitting around the campfire in the rain with a bunch of umbrellas. Seasonded campers I guess.  We've gotten used to the idea that if we are camping, its gonna rain!! lol

Had to show this one. It is a firework. I didn't do anything to it, this is just the way my camera took it. Weird. :)

Well, we went to the ice caves yesterday. I didn't do a whole lot of exploring. After falling 3 times in one minute  and being caught every time by a stranger guy, I decided that it was enough. I didn't end up feeling that embarrassed, the guy fell right after I steadied myself. :) 

Anyway, I should go, my brother is on the phone. (Thomas is at Army Basic, and he's calling home for the second time today. He hasn't gotten to the actual  basic yet, he's at what they call Reception. So he still has his phone until tomorrow. He is really bored. :))

I am so TOTALLY excited!!!!!

We just got high-speed internet at our house, which means I can now post all the pictures that I have not been able to!!!!!!!!!!!

So, without further ado, I give you...... The pictures!! :)

Ok, so this is me. I am dressed in stuff for a horrid game of Airsoft. That is NOT a real gun, it shoots white plastic b.b.'s :) My reason for saying horrid is, well, I am  REALLY bad at it, and get out first. :)

So, this is a row of buildings in San Francisco. They have the coolest buildings there!!!! I could spend forever taking pictures of buildings, but I really need more practice. I still haven’t figured out the “knack” for it.

I don’t know if any of you have heard of Fisherman’s Warf, but it is a Warf along the Bay, and has all kinds of touristy type shops and restaurants.

This is the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s foggy, so you can’t see really well, but there it is. J I was really disappointed with it.  I figured that it would be this spectacular thing, and it’s just a bridge. lol
